THE POSSIBILITY

Are you one of many patients who are experiencing unusual symptoms such as:

  • un-explained blood clots in your legs
  • visual acuity abnormalities or altered sense of smell
  • unusual nerve pain or tingling/numbness of extremities
  • sudden sensations of shortness of breath
  • irregularity of periods, miscarriage
  • irregular heart rate or blood pressure fluctuations
  • intermittent fevers
  • musculoskeletal inflammation or pain from a prior injury
  • reoccurring symptoms of past medical condition

Welcome to a patient’s life, after anywhere from immediately to several months after their COVID Vaccination.

‍

UNEXPLAINED MEDICAL ANOMALIES

We are now in the third-year use of the various COVID vaccines and the list of unexplained symptoms that are presenting in patients along with the inability of doctors to make a diagnosis seems to be ever increasing.  This is leaving patients either discharged without any treatment options or left to manage a chronic undiagnosed condition on their own!

Additionally, it has become harder to ignore the realities of the increased death of newborn babies after delivery, young males in their 20s & 30s having a heart condition, and a significant increase in findings by morticians of blood clots the length of one’s leg being found after death.

‍

WHAT PATIENTS ARE REPORTING

What patients, hospitals, and the CDC agree upon is: the common post-vaccine symptoms of local pain and rash at the injection site along with a low-grade fever and flu-like symptoms for one to two days afterward.  Certainly, if this was the end of the story there would be no concern, but any symptoms that are more severe are either treated as a new illness or at worse, ignored completely.  This cavalier response might be understandable if it was just an occasional example of “poor physician bedside manner”, but unfortunately, it is the typical response even among patients who are physicians or nurses.

For female patients, the most common complaint is unexpected vaginal bleeding and/or a change in their menstrual cycle.  Most surprisingly, this not only involves ladies in their reproductive years but also women in menopause as well as pre-pubescent girls.  Additionally, there is a reported increase in spontaneous miscarriages as well as sudden infant death after delivery in hospitals.

‍

Overall, the top ten reported symptoms at an FLCC conference were:

  • fatigue (82%)
  • exercise intolerance (76.3%)
  • brain fog (71.5%)
  • heart palpitations (64.8%)
  • muscle weakness (63.2%)
  • tingling/numbness in extremities (63%)
  • Dizziness (60%)
  • Muscle aches (59.4%)
  • sleep disturbances (58.4%)
  • joint pain (57.6%)

With such a diverse list of seemingly unrelated symptoms, it is frustrating that patients are told that these symptoms cannot be related to a vaccine and either is given partial symptomatic treatment or worse, just dismissed saying that nothing can be done for them!  The worst possible response I have heard from a patient was that although the physician admitted that the symptoms appeared to be from the COVID vaccine, he would not document it in writing as an exemption so the nurse could avoid getting a required second booster.

WHAT INTEGRATIVE PHYSICIANS ARE OBSERVING

With such a complex myriad of symptoms being seen, it is felt that rather than describing the condition as COVID-19 injury, a better description is Post-COVID-19 vaccine syndrome.   By definition, a syndrome involves a combination of seemingly unrelated symptoms involving many different aspects of one’s health.  This is opposed to a more common cause of illness, such as poor diet, relating to a disease, such as diabetes.

The mRNA vaccine generates spike proteins that stimulate and interferes with multiple aspects of one’s health.  It has been observed that five different categories of a person’s health are affected:

  1. decreased immunity or immune suppression
  2. an autoimmune response and mast cell activation
  3. an inflammatory histamine response
  4. activation of fibrin causing micro-clotting
  5. protein buildup or amyloidosis in tissues and organs.

The gene therapy-induced immune suppression is demonstrated by higher rates of colds/flus, such as a respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), in vaccinated young people compared to the unvaccinated.  Another observation we are seeing is that some people with no prior history are developing respiratory colds/flus repeatedly from the slightest contact when out in public.   More recently there are also reportedly higher rates of cancer being observed.  Vitamin C has been found for boosting the immune system, especially by IV which delivers much higher levels than one can tolerate orally.  Individuals with ongoing low vitamin D levels have been found to be especially vulnerable to infections and benefit from being tested to obtain optimal levels.

‍

An autoimmune response occurs when a foreign substance causes antibodies to be produced that then attack normal cells that have a similar exterior surface layer.  One study regarding “Molecular Mimicry between SARS-CoV-2 Spike and Human Proteins” found that 28 out of 55 human tissue samples are able to inter-react with various COVID-19 antibodies.  Such an inter-reaction causes a variety of autoimmune responses in patients such as Guillain-Barré syndrome, an inflammation of the brain known as encephalitis, or flare-ups of previously dormant rheumatoid arthritis.  Low-dose Naltrexone (LDN) at large doses blocks opioids and is used to help individuals who have alcohol or drug addictions.  LDN overall has an anti-inflammatory effect which often can be helpful with inflammatory diseases.  Over the years LDN has been used for a wide variety of diseases with pain and inflammation: fibromyalgia, irritable bowel, depression, many auto-immune diseases, and now Post-COVID-19 as well as Post-COVID-19 syndromes.

The inflammatory condition of Mast cell activation syndrome [MCAS] is seen when the immune system is stimulated by a foreign substance which causes mast cells to release histamine.   Such inflammation differs depending on what part of the body is involved.  Regarding our skin, we can see rashes, hives, and neuropathy symptoms such as tingling, numbness, and nerve pain.   While in our brain and spine, we see a wide variety of possible effects such as headaches, anxiety, personality changes, cognitive changes, multiple sclerosis, transverse myelitis, or encephalitis.   When involving the heart one can see chest pain, irregularities of heart rate, and panic attacks.

The most prevalently reported adverse event of COVID-19 vaccines is blood clots.  Clots affecting the nerves can produce mini-strokes leading to a variety of symptoms relating to where in one’s body the clots accumulate.  With clots in the brain, one can have tinnitus, loss of smell, or hearing loss.  Clots in one’s extremities present as weakness, tingling, numbness, and pain.   Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil), which has been used for decades for arthritic diseases, and Ivermectin both have demonstrated anti-inflammatory properties.  Another particular advantage of Ivermectin is its ability to block the spike protein effectively reducing many of the overall systemic inflammatory symptoms.  One of the most broad-based symptom complexes seen is referred to as autonomic sympathetic dysfunction syndrome.  This imbalance of the sympathetic nervous system can cause such symptoms as irregular heart rate, anxiety, shortness of breath, fatigue, difficulty swallowing, feeling thirsty, and perspiration irregularity.  Fortunately, addressing the sympathetic nervous system with myofascial therapy (see: Services: Osteopathic Medicine) has been quite helpful in improving these symptoms.

There has been observed an uncanny similarity between some of the effects of the COVID-19 spike protein and a disease known as Amyloidosis.   Amyloidosis is a disease caused by abnormal protein formation in the bone marrow that enters the bloodstream and accumulates in various organs causing inflammation and dysfunction.  If in the brain, this can lead to diseases like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and other neurodegenerative conditions.  When in the heart it can cause an enlarged heart or irregular heart rate.  With the lungs, one will experience shortness of breath even without exertion.  On the skin, such inflammation can cause a small red or purplish rash.  The symptoms can involve inflammation in various parts of the body such as the eye, tongue, and generalized body swelling.   When the swelling involves the extremities there is also tingling and numbness.  Again, as mentioned earlier, Ivermectin and to a minor degree Quercetin, both have the ability to block the spike protein.  An advantage of using both of these is that Quercetin also increases the body's uptake of zinc which supports the growth and normal functioning of the immune system.

One of my personal observations with both Post-COVID syndrome and Post-COVID-19 vaccine syndrome is that patients are reporting exacerbation and resurfacing of old health problems, but only worse.  My earliest concern with COVID as well as the COVID-19 gene therapy, or what is called a “vaccine", was with the spike protein causing clotting.  As an Osteopathic physician, I was especially concerned about the predisposition of diminished circulation due to the musculoskeletal restriction being more susceptible to clotting from the spike protein.

Essentially, both a musculoskeletal restriction and the spike protein similarly can interfere with the circulation of blood to and from organs robbing them of receiving essential nutrients and oxygen as well as the effective removal of waste products.  This can relate to why health problems can remain chronic and why medications become less and less helpful over time.

‍

TAILORED INTEGRATIVE MEDICAL MANAGEMENT

The biggest challenge to effectively prescribe treatment is due the lack of understanding of the source of COVID, the reality that it was designed for germ warfare, the limitations of using off-label treatment approaches, and the lack of transparency regarding development and use of the COVID-19 vaccines.  The research-pharmaceutical-medical complex is so interwoven and compromised that literally, the “fox is guarding the hen house.”  Due to this situation, it can be difficult to get unbiased informative medical help and treatment.  Fortunately, the overall dysfunction has been brought to light for an ever-increasing number of patients and medical staff.  Yet, currently, to get effective help one needs to do the homework of seeking out a doctor who has a background in Integrative Medicine and a focus on treating the cause, not just the symptoms.

As always, the place to start is with the diet.  I have found an Anti-inflammatory Modified Mediterranean diet to be the best choice for most people {place link here}  (see: 4 Your Health: Ultimate Prevention with the Anti-Inflammatory Diet).  If one follows these dietary recommendations, over time, one will see significant improvement in your health and on blood tests with the goal of being able to reduce most, if not all, medications.  I started to personally witness this during my Family Practice Residency training when patients who had diabetes, hypertension, or back pain made dietary changes.  Typically, after a ten-to-twenty-pound reduction in weight, health improved, blood tests became more normalized, and medications were able to be reduced.

A frequent aspect of the diet that I recommend is “intermittent fasting”, where you simply do not eat upon waking till you are hungry and have your last meal three hours before bedtime.  The goal is to have only two (2) meals daily about six (6) hours apart which allows the body to focus more on restoring and repairing than digestion.  An additional benefit of increased stem cell release which facilitates healing has been found in individuals doing “intermittent fasting.”

‍

Due to one’s bio-individuality, any therapeutic medications and supplements for Post-COVID-19 vaccine syndrome need to be tailored to the individual.  Typically, this will start with a combination of Ivermectin and a steroid for two to three weeks.  Another common prescription is for low dose Naltrexone (LDN) and, as mentioned earlier, has been used for a wide variety of diseases with pain and inflammation: Fibromyalgia, Irritable Bowel, Depression, and many auto-immune diseases, and now Post-COVID-19 as well as Post-COVID-19 syndromes.  Occasionally, side effects of headaches, anxiety, and vivid dreams are seen in sensitive patients who best will start at lower doses and be resolved by stopping the medication.

A good place to start with supplementation is a micronutrient test in order to treat any nutritional deficiencies.  Also, testing for any chemical, heavy metal and/or mold toxicity can determine if detoxification therapy would be helpful.  Patients who are experiencing fatigue, weakness, brain fog, depression, and/or sleep problems will often find benefits from IV Ozone therapy.   If these symptoms are more extreme, we find the detoxifying effects of IV Glutathione to be very beneficial.  Also, the Immune Boost IV is helpful for those people who find that their immune system is down and catching infections more readily.  Generally, one will see a more rapid turnaround in one’s health by doing one to two months of IVs one to two times weekly.

I feel the least appreciated aspect of healing relates to the distribution of nutrients and efficient excretion of waste products.  Any imbalances in the musculoskeletal system alignment will lead to compromised blood, nerve, and lymphatic circulation which can be best resolved through myofascial therapy (see: Services: Osteopathic Medicine).  Problems related to brain fog, depression, dizziness, or fatigue are affected by compromised circulation in the head and neck.  For symptoms of heart irregularity, anxiety, difficulty swallowing, and perspiration irregularity one needs to consider blockage of the nerves that exit the upper spine. With individuals who have shortness of breath, acid reflux, or indigestion it is good to check for any restriction of the ribs and diaphragm.

THE HOPE OF HEALING

One is inspired by the healing potential of God and nature unleashed when an individual aggressively works with their diet and nutritional therapies along with the guided support of a caring physician.  Although it takes directive guidance and effort on your part, the results are worth it.  Sometimes, we all need to take a walk in faith believing our God is bigger than any problems we face.

"Trust in the Lord, seek His will & He will direct your path"  Proverbs 3:5-6
